Proven ability to manage multiple customer relationships and technical projects concurrently, strong understanding of observability solutions with hands-on experience in tools like Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki, and proficiency in deploying and operating Kubernetes environments are essential. Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, experience with CRM systems, ticketing platforms, and modern cloud technologies, and comfort with up to 25% travel across Japan are also required.
The Senior Observability Architect will serve as the primary technical point of contact for Grafana customers in Japan, guiding them through their observability maturity roadmap and providing expert-level guidance and troubleshooting to drive product adoption. Responsibilities include conducting regular technical reviews, root cause analyses, advising on best practices, developing tailored technical roadmaps, identifying opportunities for cost optimization and feature adoption, and building long-term customer relationships. The role also involves collaborating with Engagement Managers and Onboarding Solutions Architects, acting as a customer advocate internally, conducting training sessions and workshops, developing technical documentation, and preparing reports on customer performance and strategic recommendations.
