Requirements

Candidates should have 7+ years of relevant professional experience in DevOps, infrastructure, SRE, or platform teams. They must possess the ability to develop software beyond typical infrastructure requirements, have experience programming in C, C++, Java, Python, Go, Perl, or Ruby, and possess expert knowledge in designing, developing, and managing large real-time systems. Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus and ELK Stack, as well as distributed systems and container orchestration with Kubernetes, is required. Strong communication skills are also essential.

Responsibilities

The Senior SRE will build and orchestrate a modern OTEL-based Observability Platform supporting metrics, logs, and traces. They will define and support modern governance in observability, ensure reliability, security, and performance meet SLAs, and collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot issues and deploy new services. Responsibilities include leading the design and deployment of monitoring/observability services, ingesting and transforming data from multiple sources, overseeing the observability infrastructure, creating processes for alert response operations, and making recommendations for metric collection to support new feature releases. The role also involves championing reliability and security.
