4-6 years of enterprise networking experience
Appropriate advanced industry network certifications (preferred)

Responsibilities

Install, configure, maintain, and support the organization’s network communications (LANs and/or WANs)
Identify network problems, isolate root causes, and initiate corrective action
Determine the priority of action and additional resources required based on the severity of service interruptions
Provide technical analysis to customers to isolate issues and develop strategies to restore or activate services
Interact with Telecommunication Engineers, LAN Administrators, and transmission/RF staff regarding ongoing network activities
Ascertain compliance with security, safety, and environmental guidelines
Generate reports on network performance, troubleshooting results, and routine maintenance of network elements
Participate in collaboration within a team environment
Provide network problem-solving solutions within the Global Payments network
Recognize and resolve advanced problems and issues according to corporate policies/procedures
Participate in advanced network project tasks with internal and external clients
Provide mentorship to entry/lower level team members
Assist with the design, configuration, testing, documentation, and implementation of advanced network designs and components
Generate advanced level reports on network performance, troubleshooting results, and routine maintenance of network elements
