Candidates should have 4+ years of experience in marketing analytics, fluency with AI, a passion for DataCamp’s mission of data literacy, strong storytelling skills, and a proven track record of success in analytics for performance marketing. They should be highly skilled in SQL, R (Tidyverse) or Python, and have 2+ years of experience using BI Tools (Tableau, Looker, etc.) and knowledge of web analytics tracking and tools like GTM, GA4, Adobe Analytics, Heap, etc. Hands-on experience with data pipelines via tools such as dbt or Airflow is also required.
As a Senior Marketing Data Analyst, you will generate comprehensive reports and dashboards for marketing channel performance, providing actionable insights for optimization. You will estimate and monitor customer lifetime value (LTV) to guide marketing strategies and budget allocation, develop, implement, and sustain attribution and marketing mix models to link marketing tactics to both short-term and long-term business outcomes, conduct incrementality testing to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives, collaborate closely with marketing team members, data scientists, and data engineers to align data practices and insights with business objectives, mentor and support team members in analytics best practices, and develop and maintain high standards of data quality, ensuring accuracy and consistency across marketing channels.
