Requirements

  • Hands-on experience leading end-to-end supply chain operations in a startup or growth environment
  • Ability to develop innovative solutions to supply chain constraints while maintaining speed and agility
  • Expertise in procurement, including issuing and tracking purchase orders, vendor management, and optimizing cost/inventory
  • Proven leadership skills to manage, guide, train, and hire a team of supply chain and inventory professionals
  • Strong skills in sourcing, building, and maintaining supplier relationships, including negotiations and contracts
  • Experience in cost reduction strategies (vendor selection, negotiation, insource/outsource, tax optimization)
  • Capability to support R&D, Manufacturing, and Flight Operations with contract negotiations for parts, tooling, and services
  • Knowledge of developing and maintaining SOPs, Work Instructions, and Policies for supply chain functions
  • Experience managing complex international logistics, planning, and coordination for speed, reliability, and cost
  • Proficiency in ERP implementation, including workflows, cross-dependencies, reports, and dashboards for procurement, logistics, and warehouse operations
  • Skills in monitoring KPIs, data analysis, reporting on performance, and launching improvement initiatives

Responsibilities

  • Own, develop, and implement supply chain strategies aligning with business goals for supply continuity, quality, efficiency, cost optimization, and scalability
  • Handle procurement activities, including issuing/tracking weekly purchase orders and collaborating with vendors for on-time delivery, cost, and inventory optimization
  • Lead and manage a team of supply chain and inventory professionals, providing guidance, training, support, and hiring top talent
  • Source, build, and maintain relationships with key suppliers, managing negotiations, contracts, and long-term agreements for favorable terms and reliable supply
  • Play an integral role in cost down strategy, including vendor selection, negotiation, insource/outsource decisions, and tax optimization
  • Support R&D, Manufacturing, and Flight Operations teams in negotiating contracts for parts pricing, tooling costs, and engineering services
  • Develop and maintain SOPs, Work Instructions, and Policies for Supply Chain functions
  • Manage complex international logistics, including day-to-day planning and coordination to/from Pyka’s US facility, optimizing for speed, reliability, and cost
  • Own all supply chain aspects (procurement, logistics, stock room/warehouse operations) of a new ERP implementation, including workflows, cross-dependencies, reports, and dashboards
  • Monitor KPIs, analyze data, provide regular reports to management on supply chain and logistics performance, and launch improvement initiatives or projects
