Requirements

The Senior Manager, Sales Development requires a proven track record as both an individual sales contributor and a leader of teams, with experience in leading both inbound and outbound high-performing business development teams. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of telecommunications, APIs, and software markets, as well as a capability to leverage new technologies (AI) to optimize the team and drive a bleeding-edge engagement in the market.

Responsibilities

The Senior Manager, Sales Development will be responsible for developing and growing the outbound acquisition function, which acts as the core business “talent pool” delivering entry level SDRs, and developing AAEs (Associate Account Executives) to progress into AM or AE roles. They will manage a team of junior sales contributors, focusing on outbound hunting strategy and outreach methodologies, and will work cross-functionally with the global learning & development team to train, develop, and upskill the SDR team. The role involves closely partnering with the core sales & marketing functions to convert marketing-generated leads into qualified opportunities and sustain an optimum lead-to-opportunity conversion rate, ensuring the entire BD function is the “Tip of the Spear” in terms of product and market knowledge.
