Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and coach the team managing Brooks’ product applications (PIM, FlexPLM, SaaS for Footwear/Apparel)
  • Hire, develop, and manage team performance using Brooks’ HR processes
  • Architect organization models to meet business needs
  • Serve as a member of the Information Technology leadership team
  • Create a service-oriented, highly collaborative culture
  • Define the technology roadmap for business applications
  • Own the lifecycle of technology, including planning, design, implementation, testing, support, enhancements, and selection of new applications
  • Collaborate with business leaders to understand systems requirements, specifications, costs, and timelines
  • Manage intake, acceptance criteria, and prioritization of stakeholder requests with clear business communications and coordination
  • Manage team assignments and timelines
  • Ensure system gaps/deficiencies are addressed and root causes resolved
  • Manage relationships with technology vendors
  • Work with Legal and Information Security during procurement for new products/vendors
  • Collaborate with Information Security to secure applications and maintain compliance (PCI, GDPR)
  • Develop new vendor relationships for changing business needs
  • Make recommendations for technology purchases, review/negotiate contracts, ensure vendor performance
  • Research current/potential resources/services for roadmap deliverables
  • Ensure applications adhere to internal/external compliance standards
