Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (business/marketing)
  • At least 7+ years of experience in brand management and marketing, with 4+ years in-house driving brand channels in a customer-facing B2C brand
  • Driven measurable brand lift and business impact at scale
  • Proven experience strategizing, planning, and executing integrated brand campaigns, including taking a campaign from brief to execution, setting targets, developing creative concepts, and building channel strategies

Responsibilities

  • Help refine and own Canada’s brand strategy across all channels, partnering closely with the global brand team to craft compelling positioning and messaging that resonates with Canadian travelers
  • Own and report on Canadian brand health metrics, set targets, and deploy budget across brand channels to maximize impact
  • Conduct ongoing competitive/customer research to uncover actionable insights that underpin brand strategy and campaigns
  • Develop annual roadmaps and strategic plans that deliver against brand targets while aligning cross-functional teams
  • Architect breakthrough, integrated campaigns that capture attention and drive measurable business results, owning everything from strategy to launch, setting objectives, driving creative execution, allocating budgets, and measuring impact
  • Drive high-impact media execution across TV, digital, out-of-home, social, and audio to amplify Turo’s presence and ensure maximum reach
  • Lead earned media strategy and own PR metrics, overseeing PR agencies to secure national coverage
  • Transform Turo Canada’s social presence through compelling content, authentic community building, and strategic brand storytelling
  • Forge strategic alliances with top-tier brands, influencers, and key ambassadors to expand reach, credibility, and brand affinity
  • Capitalize on cultural moments and seasonal trends to create buzz-worthy campaigns
  • Orchestrate product launches and market expansion campaigns to generate excitement and drive adoption
  • Manage creative workflows and output, coordinating internal/external creative teams and freelancers, ensuring brand consistency and local relevancy with the global marketing team
  • Build and lead a high-performing brand marketing team, fostering a collaborative culture and coaching team members
