Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of instructional design experience, including creating CBTs, PowerPoint presentations, facilitator guides, job aids, and self-paced learning modules. Prior experience in a fast-paced, consumer-centric company's learning function is required, along with proficiency in Articulate 360, Camtasia, and PowerPoint. Progressive business experience with a focus on learning strategies and adult learning theories is necessary. Candidates must be passionate about improving consumer experiences, able to multitask and adapt to changing project priorities, and have experience with project management. A Master's degree in Learning and Performance, Education, Instructional Design, Organizational Design, or a related field, along with experience in healthcare, insurance, or care management, and familiarity with CSOD for curriculum uploading and session creation are preferred. Occasional travel may be required.
The Senior Learning Design Professional will utilize instructional design, cognitive psychology, and adult learning theory to identify and address knowledge or performance gaps by designing, developing, and delivering learning solutions. This role involves analyzing content, organizing information, designing learning experiences, and writing storyboards, scripts, performance support materials, mobile learning content, and manuals for the Care Management line of business, catering to both clinical and non-clinical roles. The professional will analyze learning needs, collaborate with subject matter experts, write effective learning objectives, and coordinate performance assessments to evaluate training effectiveness. Responsibilities include ensuring course materials remain current and relevant, tracking and analyzing training program effectiveness through learner satisfaction, proficiency testing, and job performance improvement, and providing instruction and guidance to facilitators. The role also involves using collaborative tools to facilitate learning, planning, organizing, and developing training curriculum, materials, job performance aids, and programs to meet specific training needs. Additionally, the Senior Learning Design Professional will use consultative skills to manage projects, conduct needs analyses with clients to determine the relevance of learning solutions, and begin to influence department strategy, making decisions on technical approaches for project components without direction and exercising considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches for assignments.
