An analytical mindset, excellent writing and editing skills for simplifying complex technical concepts, experience with SEO best practices for knowledge bases, working knowledge of HTML and content management systems, and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines are essential. Preferred qualifications include experience with AI-driven search optimization for knowledge bases, a background in SaaS or cloud-based product documentation, and familiarity with video tools like Camtasia.
The Senior Knowledge Management Specialist will maintain and update a public-facing Help Center containing over 700 articles, ensuring accuracy and clarity. Responsibilities include collaborating with Product Managers and Product Marketing Managers to create and publish new documentation aligned with product releases, proactively identifying content gaps through data analysis and user feedback, and optimizing the Help Center to improve self-service resources and search functionality. The role involves launching initiatives to reduce missed search rates to below 5%, editing existing knowledge base content, developing and enforcing documentation standards, providing training on content creation best practices, and partnering with the AI/chatbot team to enhance content discoverability and response quality.
