Growth Product Manager - Firefox Desktop

Position Overview

The Firefox Desktop Growth team is focused on driving sustainable user growth by optimizing user activation, engagement, and retention through product-led strategies. As a Growth Product Manager, you will lead cross-functional teams in running impactful experiments and crafting engaging habit loops.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional teams to develop and execute product growth experiments aimed at increasing activation, onboarding success, and user engagement.
  • Craft and refine engagement loops through thoughtful product features, experiences, and messaging.
  • Analyze and interpret experiment data using analytics tools and SQL to identify actionable insights and growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, design, data science, and marketing to drive alignment, accelerate product decisions, and achieve the best outcomes for users and the business.
  • Identify and advocate for strategic initiatives that enhance user retention and deepen engagement across desktop experiences.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience running product experiments aimed at improving activation (onboarding) and engagement.
  • Proven track record of building and optimizing engagement loops.
  • Experience building products for Windows, macOS, and Linux.
  • Demonstrated success in enhancing user activation through innovative onboarding solutions.
  • Strong data literacy, including proficiency with product analytics tools (Amplitude, Mixpanel, etc.), BI tools (Looker, Tableau, SQL), and leveraging data to inform product and strategy decisions.
  • A robust growth mindset, characterized by curiosity, adaptability, and eagerness to learn from outcomes, especially failures.
  • Familiarity and experience applying the growth concepts taught by Reforge.
  • Comfort and experience in leading cross-functional teams to deliver measurable outcomes.
