As a Senior Field Activation Specialist within Gilead's HIV Prevention team, you will be responsible for representing Gilead's products and services to a designated customer base. Your primary focus will be on increasing awareness of HIV prevention, activating both individual healthcare practitioners (HCPs) and large accounts, and working to reduce barriers to HIV prevention within a specific geographic area. This role emphasizes advocacy, open discussions about sexual health, and a comprehensive account management approach through in-person representation, face-to-face meetings, and strategic partnerships.
You will be expected to quickly establish working relationships with and engage healthcare providers, delivering timely disease awareness information, clinical updates, and education on healthcare changes. A key requirement is the ability to translate complex clinical concepts into easily understandable messages for diverse audiences. Success in this role hinges on strong presentation and communication skills, along with a proven history of effectively interacting with healthcare professionals.
This unique opportunity supports the Thousand Oaks North territory, covering areas outside downtown Los Angeles, including Burbank, Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, up to Thousand Oaks and Santa Barbara, and also encompassing Lancaster, Bakersfield, and Fresno. Candidates are required to reside within this geography to be considered.
