BS or MS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
10 years of shown experience in software engineering

Responsibilities

Manage a team of engineers from start to finish in developing the Firefly web application, including research, design, security assessment, implementation, and feature delivery
Work closely with product management and clients to define and refine the product roadmap, user experience, priorities, and schedule
Take ownership of the development life cycle, closely supervising progress, identifying risks and opportunities, and ensuring access to senior leadership when needed
Play a pivotal role in attracting, hiring, onboarding, and retaining exceptional engineers through mentorship, and grow them professionally and personally
Rely on a combination of data and instincts to make informed decisions and drive the team's progress quickly, balancing speed and quality
Foster a culture that values teamwork, knowledge sharing, and accomplishment celebration to encourage collaboration and shared accomplishments
Be a great leader and teammate by leading by example, fostering teamwork, and supporting enterprise-wide collaboration in an environment of trust and respect
Facilitate squad effectiveness by guiding and coaching a squad of highly skilled web and backend engineers, providing technical mentorship, unblocking challenges, and celebrating achievements
Advocate for engineering excellence by contributing to the architecture and high-level structure of applications, ensuring high quality and scalability
Contribute to driving culture and process improvements across the broader engineering organization to foster continuous improvement
Lead and empower a team of engineers dedicated to delivering awe-inspiring experiences by integrating generative AI features from product and applied research teams
Craft an expressive framework that enables rapid innovation, keeping pace with the generative AI revolution
