Requirements

Track record of managing teams that deliver successful projects
Impressive portfolio of launched projects
Experience managing engineering for a user-facing product with a substantial backend component
Comfort with owning pre-launch and operational standards for such products
Experience managing a hybrid team distributed across time zones
Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment
Hands-on ability to occasionally roll up your sleeves to understand technical systems (no expectation to write production code)
Experience working on a 0-to-1 product (nice-to-have)
Experience working on B2B product and/or developer tools (nice-to-have)
Based in the San Francisco Bay Area and able to come to the office 3x per week (hybrid)

Responsibilities

Lead a tight-knit, hybrid team of high-performing engineers
Own the roadmap and process to enable rapid product improvements and backend/infrastructure enhancements
Grow an engineering team from nine to up to 3x the current size within the current year
Provide regular updates to the CEO regarding the progress of the engineering team
