Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on electronics technician experience
  • Strong proficiency in PCB assembly, rework, and component-level troubleshooting
  • Experience with RF circuits and testing tools (signal generators, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers)
  • Proficient in soldering under a microscope; IPC-610/IPC-7711/7721 certifications preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, and technical documentation
  • Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with military or aerospace electronics standards is a plus
  • DOD or Aerospace industry experience preferred
  • Working in an ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality-controlled environment (preferred)
  • Experience with environmental or vibration testing (preferred)
  • Familiarity with ESD and cleanroom protocols (preferred)
  • Associate’s degree in Electronics Technology or related field preferred, or equivalent military training and experience

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, test, and troubleshoot complex electronic assemblies and circuit boards (PCBs)
  • Perform detailed soldering and rework on surface mount and through-hole components under a microscope
  • Diagnose and repair electronic assemblies to the component level using schematics and test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers, etc.)
  • Support RF circuit testing and tuning using RF test equipment
  • Collaborate with engineers on design validation and prototyping efforts
  • Document findings, repairs, and processes in accordance with quality standards and procedures
  • Maintain and calibrate test and measurement equipment as needed
  • Follow industry standards (IPC/J-STD) and safety protocols
