Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree, with an advanced degree being preferred. A minimum of 10 years of biotech/pharma sales experience is required, including at least 3 years in a sales leadership role, and prior cross-functional experience is advantageous. Proven success in hematology/oncology and/or cell therapy markets is essential, along with inspirational leadership, clear communication, and advanced coaching and team development abilities. An innovative and strategic mindset, coupled with experience in building, coaching, and implementing actionable account plans, is also necessary. The role requires the individual to reside within the assigned territory (MN, IA, SD, ND, WI, IL, IN, MI, OH) and be willing to travel at least 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

The Senior Division Manager will be responsible for building, leading, and developing a team of seven sales professionals to launch and expand anitocabtagene autoleucel. This includes attracting, retaining, and developing top talent, onboarding and training the team to exceed launch expectations, and managing the team to meet and surpass sales and performance goals. Responsibilities also involve analyzing market trends and competitive activity, developing and implementing divisional sales plans aligned with company objectives, and supporting the team in executing strategic territory and account plans. The role requires proactively engaging with key customers to build relationships and advocacy, fostering strong collaborative relationships with Kite Pharma and field stakeholders, and leading the team to achieve aligned goals. Additionally, the manager will attend and lead commercial activities at scientific meetings and ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements.
