What We're Looking For

We are seeking an innovative and data-driven Senior Content Product Manager to lead the content strategy and execution for a groundbreaking new health and wellness product. This pivotal 0-1 role will focus exclusively on in-product content (e.g., video classes, articles, recipes, interactive experiences), rather than marketing content.

The ideal candidate will be instrumental in building a content management platform from the ground up, leveraging deep expertise in content strategy, user experience, and analytics to deliver engaging, scientifically-backed, and highly effective content that drives user retention, conversion, and overall product success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Strategy: Design, develop, and implement a comprehensive content strategy for a new health and wellness mobile application, from initial concept to ongoing optimization.
  • User Research: Conduct thorough user research, create user profiles, and analyze user behavior to inform content development and strategy.
  • Performance Tracking: Define and establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for content, track metrics closely, and analyze content performance (e.g., retention, conversion, content rating) to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • A/B Testing: Lead the entire A/B testing and experimentation process for content, from hypothesis formation and test design to results analysis and actionable insights.
  • Content Creation & Curation: Oversee the creation and curation of diverse, high-quality, scientifically-proven content formats, including articles, videos, infographics, recipes, workouts, and more.
  • Expert Collaboration: Collaborate extensively with a network of internal and external experts in fitness, dietetics, medicine, and other relevant fields to ensure content accuracy and credibility.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Work cross-functionally with product, design, marketing, and monetization teams to ensure content aligns with overall product goals and user experience.
  • Quality Control: Ensure rigorous content quality control through final review and, when necessary, actively participate in content creation.
  • Documentation: Maintain and update comprehensive content documentation, including processes, guidelines, and best practices.
  • Market Monitoring: Monitor market trends and competitor content strategies to keep the product's content offering fresh, relevant, and competitive.
  • Project Management: Ensure the timely completion of content-related tasks and initiatives within estimated deadlines.

Required Skills

  • Content Strategy for Product: Strong and proven experience in content strategy for product (not only Marketing), encompassing the full lifecycle from design and planning to implementation and optimization.
  • User Experience and User Research: Demonstrable experience with user experience (UX) principles and conducting user research.
  • A/B Testing: Extensive experience with A/B testing and experimentation, including hypothesis formation and results analysis.
  • Business Acumen: Ability to translate business goals into content strategy.
  • Metrics and KPI Experience: Proficiency in defining successful content metrics and KPIs, and a strong ability to track, analyze, and interpret content performance data to drive improvements.
  • Data-Driven Approach: Advanced analytical skills with a focus on market analysis, user behavior, and content performance, utilizing tools such as Amplitude (basic level is acceptable).
