Expertise in category strategy development and execution for global transportation categories
Skills in conducting regional tenders, mini-bids, and spot market sourcing activities across regions (EMEA, NAM, APAC, LATAM)
Ability to deliver annual net savings targets and manage rolling pipelines
Knowledge of rate benchmarking, market intelligence, fuel mechanisms, and contract standards
Experience in contract lifecycle management and rate management compliance
Capability to provide SME input to operating models, network strategies, and broader freight initiatives
Strong collaboration skills with regional procurement, operations, and business stakeholders
Involvement in enterprise supply chain strategies and business planning processes

Responsibilities

Define and align overall enterprise Category Strategy for Global Road, Rail, and Intermodal Freight with key stakeholders
Conduct regional tenders, mini-bids, and spot market sourcing for International Road Freight (Leg B) and associated services globally
Shape Category strategy for Inbound Road Freight to Site/CMO locations
Support Regional/Cross BU procurement colleagues in driving best practices for Outbound Road Freight
Provide SME input to the Haleon International Freight Operating Model and Network Strategy initiatives
Support/own elements of broader International Freight strategy, including inter-modal solutions, sustainability, and M&A network changes
Deliver annual net savings targets and rolling pipeline for International Road Freight
Lead category responsibility for rate benchmarking, market intelligence, and contracts for Road, Rail, and Intermodal Freight
Own Haleon fuel mechanism and contract standards for International Road Freight, including tracking fuel prices and spend
Support annual business planning with category input on inflation and savings tracking
Ensure rate management compliance for International Road Freight pricing in Haleon systems
Manage contract lifecycle for all International Road Freight agreements
Actively participate in development and deployment of end-to-end Enterprise Supply Chain strategies
Work within a sub-team of 5 logistics procurement colleagues and resolve commercial escalations
