Responsibilities

  • Develop global sourcing strategies for various categories
  • Work with business stakeholder groups to identify and qualify suppliers, initiate RFPs/RFQs, and advise on contract terms
  • Conduct RFPs and lead cross-functional teams through supplier selection using scoring criteria
  • Lead negotiations on General Procurement agreements, balancing business, legal, and pricing aspects
  • Analyze proposals for services, total costs, ROI, benchmarking, and negotiate favorable terms
  • Provide global contract expertise for sourcing products and services across business units
  • Evaluate single sourcing requests for competitiveness
  • Develop, refine, and implement category strategies and tactics for highest value procurement
  • Become subject matter expert on categories and consult internal clients on trends and best practices
  • Lead cross-functional meetings and develop communication strategies on procurement processes, supplier strategy, and policies
  • Manage supplier relationships focusing on supply risk, contract risk, and cost management
  • Mediate supplier issues and resolve contract disputes
  • Lead and participate in supplier performance reviews and improvement programs
  • Support ad-hoc reporting needs, including supplier scorecards
