Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree and at least three years of technical experience with data programming languages such as SQL, R, and Python for data wrangling. They should also have three or more years of technical experience with report development, automation, scheduling, and self-service tools using technologies like Tableau and PowerBI, plus one or more years of experience with report and/or application design (UI and UX). Experience with data management practices and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) are necessary, along with excellent organizational and communication skills for senior leadership. Preferred qualifications include an advanced degree in a quantitative field, financial services or healthcare industry experience, and experience with Agile methodologies and ETL programs like SAS, SSIS, Python, or Databricks.

Responsibilities

The Senior Business Intelligence Engineer will solve complex business problems by leveraging data from internal and external sources to provide insights to decision-makers. This role involves analyzing situations and data, evaluating variable factors, and describing the tools, technologies, applications, and practices used for data collection, integration, analysis, and presentation. The engineer will begin to influence department strategy and make decisions on technical approaches for project components without direction, exercising considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches for assignments.
