Position Overview

Significance has an opportunity for a Power BI/Apps Developer. The Advana Jupiter developer position involves working within the DoN Advana Jupiter environment, a platform designed for leveraging big data analytics and artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance Navy leader decisions. Developers contribute to the development, maintenance, and on-going enhancements of data-driven solutions within this critical defense platform. Collaboration with other Navy agency developers, host resource sponsor for Jupiter (FM&C), and analysts within the field to drive meaningful products and usage rates.

Required Skills

• Proven track record 5+ years in end-to-end BI delivery on Qlik, Databricks, Power Apps, and Jupiter platforms
• Facilitate discovery workshops, capture ERP table relationships, and map to reporting objectives
• Craft test plans, execute report testing, and iterate based on feedback from business and technical teams
• Optimize ERP data structures and write complex SQL queries to support decision making
• Produce training materials, user manuals, and lead live demos at customer facilities or virtually
• Apply deep SQL skills to enhance performance and reliability of analytic solutions
• Active Secret Clearance required

Desired Skills

• Experience supporting Navy financial or logistics systems
• Prior work with Advana or similar DoD data platforms
• Proven ability to gather requirements, test reports and train end users
• Skill in authoring clear user guides and delivering concise demos to stakeholders

Compensation

$125,000 - $130,000 a year

At Significance, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package and is determined within a range. Our pay ranges are based on the local cost of labor benchmarks for each specific role, level, and geographic location. We carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including but not limited to experience; job-related skill sets; relevant education or training; and other business and organizational needs. The salary range listed is for the level at which this job has been scoped. In the event that you are considered for a different level, a higher or lower pay range would apply. This position is also eligible for a comprehensive and generous benefits package.
