Candidates should possess a bachelor's or advanced degree in information systems, analytics, computer science, data science, business, or a related field, or have equivalent years of experience. A minimum of 5 years of experience in data analytics, data science, business intelligence, or data engineering is required. Advanced skills in Power BI Desktop, Excel, SQL, and DAX are essential, along with expertise in the Microsoft data ecosystem including Power BI Premium, Fabric, and Azure. Familiarity with Power Query, SSMS, Tabular Editor, DAX Studio, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, and/or Fabric Notebooks is highly advantageous. Proficiency in Python or other predictive data modeling languages for AI/ML use cases is a plus, as are scripting abilities in C# and/or PowerShell. Solid knowledge of the Microsoft Suite, Outlook, and Slack is expected, and familiarity with Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) data domains is beneficial.
The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst will build advanced interactive reporting and dashboard solutions using Power BI and Excel, focusing on data visualization, DAX measure and KPI development, and navigation features. They will produce analytical reports and slide decks, incorporating data storytelling and business context to aid decision-making. The role involves building predictive data models and forecasts using various tools like SQL, Python, and Power BI. Responsibilities also include authoring SQL code for data transformation, assisting with data engineering pipelines in Azure, Fabric, and Fivetran, and supporting semantic modeling projects. The analyst will participate in data governance, master data management, and data stewardship by partnering with key individuals to optimize and harmonize data for analytics use cases.
