Proven ability to contribute directly to external integrations and prototype in partner environments, along with a strong understanding of REST APIs, HTTP, OAuth2/OpenID Connect, and modern SDK patterns, are necessary. Effective communication skills for presenting complex technical and business ideas are also required.
The Senior Business Engineer will act as a trusted technical advisor and solutions architect for strategic partners and direct advertisers, guiding them through the integration and adoption of Reddit's advertising APIs and tools. They will design and prototype proof-of-concept solutions to accelerate technical enablement and create tangible value, potentially working within Reddit's systems or partner codebases. Collaboration with engineering teams at partner organizations to optimize performance, address integration gaps, and troubleshoot complex issues is expected. Responsibilities also include leading onboarding, testing, and pre-launch support, representing the technical voice of the partner internally to influence product and platform priorities, and supporting escalations for complex integrations by providing clear, actionable direction.
