Requirements

Candidates should have experience scaling and maintaining benefits programs through platforms such as Rippling and ADP, along with the ability to conduct financial analysis on benefits costs and assess the effectiveness of benefits programs using Google survey and spreadsheet tools. They should also possess proven integrity in managing difficult situations and applying company policies and frameworks consistently, and experience working in companies with footprints in multiple locations.

Responsibilities

The Senior Benefits Analyst will successfully implement, design, and administer Aurora’s benefits programs including health, wellness, and retirement for employees located in the US and Canada, ensuring and supporting compliance with local, state, and national benefits laws and requirements. They will support internal and external audits of benefits programs, work with brokers to obtain market competitive analysis, present recommendations to senior leadership, conduct annual enrollment employee education sessions, manage enrollment activities, and manage relationships with external vendors. Additionally, they will serve as the subject matter expert on leave and time off programs, partner with key stakeholders on sensitive leave matters, ensure vendor data accuracy, and collaborate with People Operations to troubleshoot benefits inquiries and set up annual enrollment processes.
