Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field, and have at least five years of experience in underwriting, preferably within the employee benefits insurance sector. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, along with proficiency in data entry and documentation review.
The Underwriting Sr Analyst will be responsible for data importing and entry into the agency management system, binding of coverage, sending policies and endorsements to brokers, and reviewing documentation to ensure risk meets outlined requirements. They will also handle customer and broker correspondence, process endorsements and legal notices, provide training and mentorship to new analysts, and assist with Loss History reports, invoicing, and importing as needed.
