Requirements
Candidates should have 8+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on integration and automation. Strong Node.js/JavaScript experience, API integration and data transformation skills, and experience with automation frameworks like Selenium, Playwright, Puppeteer, e2b, or n8n are required. Experience with React for internal UIs, RPA tools, workflow orchestration tools such as Zapier or n8n, and deep experience with file parsing and data extraction (PDFs, Excel, CSVs) are considered a bonus.
Responsibilities
The Senior Backend Engineer will build and maintain automation services to connect internal tools, third-party platforms, and data pipelines. They will also power intelligent workflow orchestration for the Payroll team.
