The Senior Analyst, Business Development requires in-depth experience, knowledge, and skills in their discipline, with the ability to determine their own work priorities. They should act as a resource for colleagues with less experience and stay abreast of sales strategies, trends, initiatives, and best practices within the company and the competitive landscape. The role involves consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance, regular and punctual attendance, and the flexibility to work nights, weekends, variable schedules, and overtime as necessary.

Responsibilities

This role is responsible for developing sales strategies through analysis for the Product Sales Support Manager, making recommendations to maximize revenue and meet client needs. The analyst provides analytical and statistical support, prepares sales forecasts and reports, and analyzes variances versus budget. They will explore datasets to uncover patterns and insights, validate data sources, and analyze complex information to deliver actionable findings. Responsibilities include designing and analyzing geographic and market data for network expansion, conducting exploratory analysis to uncover business drivers, and developing forecasting models. The analyst will create dashboards and data visualizations, collaborate with Sales and Operations Management to improve process efficiency, and identify problems and recommend solutions. They will manage the placement of specialized programming, coordinate information flow between departments, and lead and mentor Business Development Teams. Additionally, they will provide oversight of sales support processes, offer guidance, and assist with the training and mentoring of new and existing Product Support Analysts on sales-related procedures and paperwork.
