Requirements

Candidates should have 5+ years of experience in roles such as investment banking, management consulting, accounting, or strategy/operations, preferably within SaaS startups. A strong understanding of SaaS business models, sales motions, and financial metrics is required, along with proficiency in core accounting concepts, Excel/Google Sheets, SQL, and data visualization tools like BigQuery, Looker, or Metabase. Experience in financial modeling, including building budgets, projections, and forecasts from scratch in a high-growth environment, is essential. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication skills, an ownership mentality, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.

Responsibilities

The Senior Business Analyst will improve financial visibility, control, and planning effectiveness by developing scalable processes in collaboration with accounting and business teams. They will partner with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Operations, and Product teams to provide financial insights, support strategic initiatives, and align on revenue goals and resource allocation. This role involves leading the Finance section of the quarterly Board package, managing monthly and quarterly reporting for the Executive team, Board, and investors, and providing key insights into financial performance. Responsibilities also include developing and spearheading dynamic revenue modeling and departmental operating budget processes, establishing and monitoring key financial performance indicators aligned with company OKRs, and supporting various finance and operations initiatives on high-priority strategic projects.
