This Senior Account Manager role focuses on managing a portfolio of large clients (5000+ lives). The primary responsibilities include relationship management, understanding client needs, and daily client oversight. As the main point of contact for key client stakeholders and brokers, the Senior Account Manager is crucial for ensuring client success and retention within this market segment. This role collaborates with the Strategic Accounts team and other departments to advance Garner's mission and reports to the Director of Account Management (Jumbo Market).

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience managing and growing a high-performing B2B book of business in the healthcare and benefits industry, delivering impactful year-over-year results.
  • Demonstrated experience assisting clients in increasing engagement and maximizing the value of a SaaS solution.
  • Passion for delivering an excellent client experience and a commitment to high-quality work.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate vision/strategy and inspire adoption and change.
  • Excellent presentation skills and executive presence.
  • Ability to thrive in an ambiguous, rapidly evolving, and fast-paced startup environment with significant upside potential.
  • Self-starter mentality with a proven ability to take ownership and drive execution of key initiatives.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with clients and brokers in the health and welfare space.
  • A desire to contribute to Garner's mission of improving the healthcare system.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure an excellent client experience for the assigned book of business.
  • Execute key workflows and monitor client health to support clients effectively.
  • Track client success KPIs, escalate concerns, and mitigate risks by developing and implementing action plans.
  • Implement best practice standards and workflows to enhance client satisfaction, engagement, and ROI, thereby driving retention.
  • Manage strong day-to-day relationships with brokers and clients.
  • Communicate regularly with key decision-makers and broker partners to understand ongoing needs.
  • Collaborate with product, sales, and member services teams to meet client engagement goals and ensure client satisfaction with Garner's service.
  • Develop client reports, meeting materials, and workshops as needed.
  • Travel up to 15% of the time.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base Salary: $93,000 - $120,000
  • Eligibility: Commission eligible
  • Additional Compensation: Eligible for equity incentive plan.
