Account Executive - SMB Sales

Candidates must possess at least 3 years of sales experience, with a proven track record of top performance and a minimum of 2 years in an outbound sales role prior to that. They should have experience selling spend management tools or similar products, and a strong understanding of complex technical requirements, enabling them to craft solutions across multiple products. A passion for sales, the ability to develop and execute territory plans, and superior verbal and written communication skills are also required, along with the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and an interest in technology and the payment space.
The Senior Account Executive will be responsible for owning the full sales cycle, including territory management from prospecting to close, representing Airwallex at client meetings and events (with some travel), meticulously utilizing CRM and forecasting, and driving internal processes to set up partnerships for success. They will also be accountable for increasing revenue and new client acquisition, and negotiating complex commercial agreements involving bespoke solutions.
