Requirements

Candidates must have a minimum of 7 years of full sales cycle experience selling enterprise cybersecurity technology solutions to SLED clients in the Tri-State area. A hunter mentality with expertise in multi-channel prospecting, including cold calling, channel partnerships, LinkedIn outreach, and networking is required. Proven ability to build relationships with senior cyber buyers and leverage an existing network for new logo introductions is essential. Strategic selling skills with expertise in account planning and a clear sales process (MEDDPICC preferred) are necessary. A history of consistent quota achievement and the ability to deliver against targets are also required, along with a great understanding of complex sales processes and business drivers for enterprise clients.

Responsibilities

The Senior Account Executive will sell Dataminr’s Cybersecurity & Physical Security solutions to high-profile US SLED accounts, ensuring critical alerts reach the right hands at the right time. Responsibilities include delivering unique and impactful solutions, exceeding quotas, and establishing strong customer relationships while working closely with channel partners. This role involves conducting and executing detailed sales campaigns, building a strong pipeline through proactive prospecting, strategic networking, and leveraging partners. The executive will cultivate and sustain valuable client relationships, navigate and close complex enterprise deals, develop comprehensive insights into customer use cases and decision-making processes, and master competitive analysis to position Dataminr’s solutions effectively. Providing valuable feedback to cross-functional teams for product enhancement is also a key responsibility.
