Salsify is seeking a highly motivated, dynamic, and driven Senior Account Executive, New Business with previous SaaS experience and an affinity for solution selling. This role involves selling Salsify's Commerce Experience Management (CommerceXM) solution to new clients, building an effective pipeline, and expanding the current client base of over 850 brands. Senior Account Executives are responsible for a strategic sales approach to finding and winning new accounts with prominent brand manufacturers globally. Successful candidates are masterful storytellers who can simplify complex solutions to connect with brands and optimize their navigation of the e-commerce landscape. Salsify is experiencing significant growth, and Senior Account Executives are crucial drivers of new logo acquisition on a national and worldwide stage.

Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years of exceeding sales quotas in a closing role.
  • Sales Focus: Selling SaaS to business units and key personas including CMOs, VPs, & Directors.
  • Mentality: Must possess a hunter mentality.
  • Prospecting: Experience prospecting key accounts in the Fortune 100/500/1000 space.
  • Industry Preference: Prior industrial industry experience is preferred.
  • Deal Complexity: Ability to navigate complex, multi-year deals with multiple stakeholders over several months, solution sell, and close initial land opportunities.
  • Passion: Passion for closing deals; a high-energy hunter position.
  • Process: Professional sales training and adherence to a repeatable sales process; experience with MEDDIC is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Take a strategic sales approach to find and win new accounts with well-known brand manufacturers.
  • Build an effective pipeline and add to the current client base.
  • Utilize storytelling to connect with brands and optimize their e-commerce strategies.
  • Act as an evangelist for CommerceXM.
  • Drive new logo acquisition on a national and worldwide stage.
