Position Overview

CrowdStrike is seeking an IAM Security Architect to join our expanding Security Architecture and Engineering team within the Information Security department. This role is responsible for designing and implementing identity and access management (IAM) solutions that align with CrowdStrike’s security policies and regulatory requirements. The IAM Security Architect will enhance authentication and authorization frameworks, ensure least privilege access, conduct security reviews, provide technical guidance, and lead initiatives to improve IAM security posture. This is a cross-functional role requiring collaboration with other teams and serving as a subject matter expert, all while adhering to industry-best security practices.

Responsibilities

  • Leads the planning, implementation, documentation, and testing of IAM security solutions.
  • Develops IAM security standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Partners with business units to integrate secure identity and access controls across various business use cases.
  • Determines security requirements by evaluating business strategies and needs; researches information security standards; plans and collaborates with team members in conducting system security and vulnerability analyses and risk assessments.
  • Oversees the implementation of identity governance, multi-factor authentication (MFA) solutions, and Zero Trust solutions.
  • Maintains relevant job knowledge by tracking and understanding emerging security practices and standards; participates in educational opportunities; participates in professional organizations.
  • Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing tasks; explores opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Assists with ad-hoc operational tasks as required.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions (e.g., Okta, Ping Identity, Microsoft Entra ID).
  • Experience with Privileged Access Management (PAM) tools such as Delinea, CyberArk, and/or BeyondTrust.
  • Proficiency in Single Sign-On (SSO), MFA, and Federation protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect).
  • Understanding of Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC).
  • Experience with Cloud IAM configurations across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Experience with IAM automation and orchestration.

Bonus Points

  • Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or related technology field.
  • Security certifications issued by GIAC, CompTIA, ISACA, or (ISC)².
