Requirements

Candidates must have over 5 years of experience in a technical engineering, support, or escalation role, with hands-on experience in identity, privileged access management (PAM), or endpoint security solutions. Familiarity with competitor platforms like CyberArk, BeyondTrust, and Thycotic is strongly preferred, as is proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, and APIs. Strong research and documentation skills are essential for building internal playbooks and technical guides, along with excellent communication abilities to explain complex technical findings to diverse stakeholders. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience is required. Preferred qualifications include experience defining or executing competitive migration strategies in cybersecurity or SaaS, a deep understanding of PAM concepts and endpoint privilege management, exposure to SaaS/cloud-native deployments, and relevant security certifications.

Responsibilities

The Competitive Migration Architect will pioneer Keeper’s migration strategy by researching competitor platforms and identifying technical blind spots. They will design migration approaches, frameworks, and playbooks to enable seamless transitions from legacy PAM solutions and develop reusable tools, scripts, and connectors to accelerate migrations. This role involves partnering with Sales Engineering to de-risk competitive deals, supporting Implementation for unique customer migrations, and training internal teams on Keeper’s migration capabilities. Additionally, they will provide insights to Product and Engineering to influence roadmap improvements that enhance migration success.
