Requirements

Candidates must have 5-7 years of direct IT experience, with 2-3 years as an Okta administrator or architect. Expertise in Okta products and services, including Okta Identity Cloud, Okta Workflows, and Okta API Access Management, is required. Proficiency in integrating Okta with HR, finance, and cloud systems, along with experience in Google Workspace administration and automation tooling like GAM, is necessary. Hands-on experience with modern identity management tools and public cloud platforms such as MFA, Security Tokens, OAuth, AWS, and Atlassian is expected. Experience in a macOS, remote-first environment and strong cross-functional communication skills are essential. Candidates must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States.

Responsibilities

The Senior IAM Engineer will own Calendly’s Identity and Access Management strategy, tools, and lifecycle processes, including designing, implementing, and maintaining secure access controls, automation workflows, and governance frameworks. Responsibilities include building automation for provisioning/deprovisioning, defining and implementing IAM security posture improvements, managing the IAM environment (Access Groups, Service Accounts, Sandbox access, API configuration), and proactively resolving IAM lifecycle management issues. The role involves conducting regular assessments and audits for compliance, maintaining application dashboards and documentation, providing task estimates for project planning, and troubleshooting technical issues. Collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders to communicate complex IAM concepts and facilitating governance discussions with business leaders are key duties.
