Requirements

  • Appropriate tertiary qualification or Medical/Paramedical certification (e.g., nursing) or relevant industry experience
  • Preferably prior learning of professional selling skills
  • More than 2 years of relevant experience in a sales role in the Health Care Industry, mainly focused on TAVI segment
  • English C1 level
  • Relevant Product Knowledge
  • Capable computer skills for Abbott field reporting data system, correspondence, and spreadsheets
  • Ability to put together a territory business plan
  • Numerical ability

Responsibilities

  • Achieve territory total product sales targets and associated individual product targets
  • Carry out sales calls, targeting high sales areas for maximum efficiency and develop new business opportunities with existing and potential clients
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity in assigned territory
  • Complete and submit timely administration tasks such as customer record keeping (CM), rolling forecasts, monthly highlights, expenses, etc., in line with divisional standards
  • Manage samples, demo devices, promotional and phone expense budgets as per plan spreadsheet to ensure expenses budget is contained
  • Maintain close relationships with key accounts and ensure their requirements are being met by the Company's products where possible
  • Represent Abbott in a professional manner that aligns with Company image, ensuring activities comply with legal and ethical standards
  • Compliance with local and corporate policies and procedures
  • Assure consistent sales growth and achievement of sales goals and targets in assigned TAVI Division & territory by identifying opportunities and gaining new business while maintaining existing business
