Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, engineering, business, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in complex solution selling
  • Deep understanding of municipal infrastructure needs
  • Strategic vision and foresight to develop and communicate a clear vision, anticipate trends, and align efforts with long-term objectives
  • Ability to mentor and develop talent, including sharing knowledge and supporting career development
  • Influential leadership skills with strong communication, credibility, and relationship-building abilities

Responsibilities

  • Sell complex odor control, disinfection, and wastewater solutions to municipal entities across Tennessee and Georgia
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key municipal stakeholders, understanding their regulatory and operational challenges
  • Engage clients through in-person visits, virtual meetings, and strategic presentations using a consultative approach
  • Create and deliver custom quotes, technical proposals, and product demonstrations
  • Lead customer engagements such as lunch & learns, webinars, and trade shows to educate and expand influence
  • Respond to customer inquiries with urgency, offering tailored solutions based on industry knowledge and product expertise
  • Maintain and advance opportunities through all sales stages in CRM, ensuring accurate forecasting and data integrity
  • Stay current on relevant regulations, technologies, and industry trends to remain a trusted advisor
  • Research and identify potential clients in assigned territory
  • Cold call and network to generate leads and expand client base
  • Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends and competition
  • Set and achieve sales targets in assigned territory
  • Collaborate with sales team to meet overall company goals
  • Provide training and support to new and existing sales team members
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients
  • Understand and address clients' needs and concerns
  • Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams to ensure client satisfaction
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling products to existing clients
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from new business development to post-sale relationship management
  • Act as the primary point of contact for city, county, and utility clients, ensuring ongoing customer satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth
