Candidates should possess at least two years of experience consistently exceeding sales quotas for SaaS products, demonstrating expertise in navigating multiple stakeholders to deliver tailored solutions, and maintaining a high-volume, transactional sales approach with a proven ability to build a strong book of business.
As a Sales Representative, SMB, you will be responsible for building relationships with key decision-makers at the school district level, selling Newsela’s suite of products, managing the entire sales lifecycle from pipeline management and forecasting to lead generation campaigns, and developing a sales strategy informed by a deep understanding of territory-specific funding, state initiatives, demographics, and the K-12 education landscape.
Provides tailored educational content for K-12
Newsela offers tailored educational content for K-12 students, providing engaging instructional materials in subjects like English Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies. Schools and districts subscribe to access a library of articles that are updated daily and available at five different reading levels, ensuring accessibility for all students. The platform integrates with Learning Management Systems and includes features like activities and reporting tools to support teachers. Newsela's goal is to enhance student engagement and improve teaching methods through flexible, standards-aligned resources.
