Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or 5+ years of professional experience required (sales or clinical experience preferred)
  • Knowledge of marketing, market research, new product development, new product introduction, P/L management, and field testing
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license in the state of residence and a good driving record
  • Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or constantly
  • Prolonged periods of stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, sitting, standing, and/or crawling
  • Handling various materials including durcot fabric, nylon fabric, Velcro, zippers, product components comprised of rubber, metals and coated products
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills (stress management, people management, conflict management)
  • Exercise discretion and independence
  • Written and oral communication skills, and ability to present to large audiences
  • Results-oriented with strong relationship skills, market positioning knowledge, and mission-driven approach

Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell Stryker PRT products to hospitals
  • Take a consultative approach to hospital sales, marketing, and clinical demonstrations
  • Achieve assigned quota
  • Become the resident PRT expert, understanding products and competitor offerings
  • Demonstrate teamwork and empowerment, solving problems, operating with honesty and integrity, and providing exceptional customer service
  • Contribute to product innovation by listening and working with others and contributing new ideas
  • Live out the mission to save and change lives by selling Stryker products that improve healthcare
