Requirements

  • Completed degree in business or natural sciences or comparable clinical training
  • Qualification as a medical device consultant according to MPG is desirable
  • Ideally sales or marketing experience in a clinical environment
  • Strong analytical understanding and strategic thinking skills
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and positive handling of changes
  • Pronounced self-responsibility, initiative, and above-average commitment
  • Good IT and English skills in spoken and written form
  • High willingness to travel in the assigned area (including overnight stays if required)

Responsibilities

  • Independently handle sales planning, create sales plans, manage customer care, and provide information and training to new and existing customers in your territory
  • Full revenue responsibility in the assigned area for your product segments
  • Support clinical users including operating room support and patient care, as well as contacts from purchasing and administration
  • Build new customer relationships and position Abbott as a long-term strategic partner in the neuromodulation segment
  • Conduct quarterly and annual discussions with all customers regarding the development of business relationships
  • Participate in customer retention at congresses and coordinate activities with marketing
