Sales Manager, Retail Collaboration Program

Employment Type: Full-time Location Type: Remote Salary: $74,900.00 - $85,000.00 (anticipated base compensation, actual salary may vary based on experience, qualifications, skills, and location)


Position Overview

As a Sales Manager, you will lead sales, manage revenue impact, and utilize insights for your assigned targets in a dedicated Retail Collaboration Program. Your success will be driven by three core areas:

  • Executing against annual sales targets through new client acquisition and retention/upselling of existing clients.
  • Demonstrating value through insights, helping clients turn data into action and building strong internal and external partnerships to support sales and customer success efforts.
  • Craft compelling business cases, lead impactful presentations demonstrating the value proposition to Suppliers, and demonstrate how our insights drive ROI and urgency to collaborate.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan for assigned clients and targets.
  • Leverage insights to build persuasive proposals and sales materials tailored to client needs.
  • Support Program Director of Sales with thought leadership deliverables, lead generation templates, and management of the pricing tool.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and opportunity status updates.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Account Leads, SDRs, Product) to align on client strategy.
  • Cultivate relationships with key client stakeholders (Account Manager – Sales and Category, Analysts).
  • Monitor contracts to ensure timely delivery and renewal readiness.
  • Provide client feedback to product teams to inform solution enhancements.

About You

You’re a natural at selling analytics solutions to professionals in Category Management and Sales. You bring a can-do attitude, a drive to exceed targets, and a passion for turning insights into action. You thrive on testing new ideas, uncovering the number that shifts perspectives, building relationships with decision-makers, and knowing how to open doors and close deals with confidence.


Qualifications

  • 3-4+ years’ experience in a relevant industry (CPG, consulting, sales).
  • Proven success in consultative, data-driven solution selling.
  • Strong “hunter” mentality with a track record of exceeding sales goals.
  • Experience managing full sales cycles (short and long).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work cross-functionally.
  • High sense of urgency and accountability to deliver results.
  • Familiarity with NielsenIQ tools and platforms is a plus.
