Demonstrable success in negotiation and securing contracts is essential, as is experience in delivering change initiatives and facilitating change in customer-focused organizations. Innovative thinking, advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, and the ability to maintain positive relationships and build strong links across a company matrix structure are also necessary. Flexibility and the ability to work under pressure are expected.
The Sales Manager will lead the ARDx ID Sales Team in the North Germany region, driving the sales and business development strategy for the Infectious Disease business unit. Responsibilities include achieving short- and long-term volume, sales, profit, and market share goals by developing organizational excellence. This involves managing the product portfolio, selling and training on products across various market segments and customer types, and developing a high-performance team with succession planning. The role requires building C-level relationships within hospitals, identifying strategic partnership targets, responding to customer needs, preparing sales forecasts, and developing relationships with payer stakeholders. Additionally, the Sales Manager will interface with Key Opinion Leaders, address market access barriers, liaise with market access stakeholders, collaborate with internal functions like Marketing and Finance, and ensure commercial operations comply with legal and ethical boundaries. Employee recruiting and participation in job interviews are also part of the role.
