Candidates must possess at least three years of customer-facing or sales engineering experience, demonstrating knowledge of the security industry and its competitors, and the ability to understand and articulate complex technical concepts effectively. Strong communication and presentation skills are also required, alongside the capacity to collaborate with both internal and external teams.
The Sales Engineer will serve as a technical expert alongside Account Executives throughout the sales cycle, creating and delivering custom presentations and demos tailored to prospect needs. They will facilitate interactive proof-of-concept (POC) sessions, maintain a comprehensive understanding of the Red Canary solution, advocate for prospects, and proactively identify solutions. Furthermore, the role involves performing product research and development, maturing existing processes, writing and refactoring scripts, and engaging in pre-sales interactions to support Account Executives during presentations and POCs.
