Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and ideally have 3-5 years of experience as a Sales Engineer, demonstrating a strong understanding of commercial video management systems and cloud-centric software solutions. Familiarity with California-specific regulations and a proven ability to translate technical specifications into easily understandable terms for customers are highly desirable.
The Sales Engineer will prepare and deliver presentations, assess equipment needs, develop training courses, provide feedback to product management, prepare cost estimates, drive improvements, identify market strategies, investigate customer issues, create technical content, support project installations, and communicate troubleshooting discoveries to management, all while maintaining professional and technical knowledge and utilizing CRM for documentation.
