The role requires self-management, responsiveness, dedication to customer success, familiarity with building relationships with cross-functional partners, and the ability to challenge team members. Proven ability to present in-depth technical knowledge in a commercial and sales-driven setting, a service-oriented mindset, customer-driven approach, and the ability to deliver high-quality work with minimal oversight are necessary. Comfort with up to 25% quarterly travel is also required.
The Sales Engineer will lead all technical aspects of the sales process, answering technical questions about Bolt technology, features, solutions, and applications. They will ensure smooth technical implementations for clients by setting expectations, advising on uncertainties, and acting as a technical point of contact until scope achievement. Responsibilities include proposing solution options that maximize Bolt's value proposition while meeting customer business requirements, becoming a trusted advisor to define customer integration strategies, and building customer relationships at all levels. The role involves completing technical requirements within RFIs/RFPs, leading sales campaigns for all customer segments with immediate feedback, and contributing to the vision and strategy of the Presales team.
