Requirements

Candidates should possess over 5 years of experience working with clients and technology partners, and have experience selling and implementing Enterprise Hardware or Software, Cloud Platforms, IaaS, PaaS, or Virtual Infrastructure software. They must be comfortable working with multiple decision-makers, presenting technical and business material to various groups, and possess outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. The role requires self-motivation, comfort working remotely and autonomously, and the ability to travel. A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, a related field, or equivalent experience is necessary.

Responsibilities

The Sales Engineer will uncover and drive new customer opportunities by providing sales and technical assistance, clearly articulating Cohesity technology to both business and technical users. They will enable customers to integrate Cohesity products into their existing environments and respond to requests for information and proposals. Responsibilities include developing expertise in secondary storage technology strategy for major customers and partners, communicating Cohesity's vision through demonstrations, workshops, white papers, and proposals, and identifying customer needs to implement proof of concepts. The role also involves collaborating with product management as a field representative and potentially providing project management and post-sales technical support.
