Field Engineer (Government)

Candidates should possess 7-10 years of experience in a Sales or Solutions Engineering role supporting the US Air Force and US Space Force, with preference for experience in cybersecurity, maintenance, or operational technology within defense aviation or space. They must have a strong understanding of networking, security, and embedded systems, and the ability to translate technical concepts into business value. An active Top Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one is required.
The Sales Engineer will collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and develop tailored solutions using Shift5’s platform, deliver compelling presentations and demos to showcase Shift5’s solutions, act as a trusted advisor to customers addressing their technical concerns, work with customers to map their needs to Shift5’s platform, assist in crafting technical proposals and solution briefs, bridge the gap between customers and internal teams, and educate customers and partners on Shift5’s technology through workshops, webinars, and training sessions.
Observability platform for operational technology
Shift5 offers an observability platform that focuses on cybersecurity and data analytics for operational technology (OT) in defense and transportation sectors.
