Candidates should have 3+ years of experience working with clients and technology partners, and experience selling and implementing Enterprise Hardware or Software, Cloud Platforms, IaaS, PaaS, or Virtual Infrastructure software. Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support decision making is required. Candidates must be comfortable working with multiple decision-makers, be very comfortable presenting technical and business material to various groups, and possess outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Self-motivation, comfort working remotely and autonomously, and the ability to travel are essential. A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, a related field, or equivalent experience is required.
The Sales Engineer will uncover and drive new customer opportunities by providing sales and technical assistance, clearly articulating Cohesity technology to both business and technical users. They will enable customers to integrate Cohesity products into their existing production environments and respond to customer and partner requests for information and proposals. The role involves developing expertise to lead the secondary storage technology strategy for key customers and partners, and communicating Cohesity’s vision through product demonstrations, workshops, white papers, and proposals. Responsibilities include identifying customer needs to implement proof of concepts, collaborating with product management as a field representative, and potentially providing project management and post-sales technical support.
