Requirements

Candidates should possess 5 or more years of experience in a technical Sales Engineering or similar role, demonstrating a strong understanding of Cloud/SaaS technologies and Active Directory environments. Familiarity with network architecture, industry standard authentication protocols (SAML, OIDC/OAuth, LDAP, RADIUS), and MDM/RMM solutions is preferred, as is experience with MFA technologies like TOTP and WebAuthn. Experience configuring and deploying identity and/or directory solutions, along with familiarity with both direct and channel/partner sales cycles, are also desired.

Responsibilities

The Sales Engineer will act as a technical trusted advisor, providing consultative support to organizations in the UK and EMEA region evaluating the JumpCloud platform, delivering tailored product demonstrations, uncovering customer pain points, and aligning JumpCloud solutions to those challenges. They will support direct and partner sales teams with product-related questions and skill development, build relationships with partners through technical enablement, assist prospects with setup and configuration of free trials, and provide technical Q&A throughout the trial process. Additionally, the Sales Engineer will assess prospect readiness for formal sales cycles, provide evaluation frameworks, identify common technical issues, and advise on implementation best practices to accelerate customer time to value, as well as contribute to product development by identifying themes for automation and self-serve.
