Vantage is a cloud cost visibility and optimization platform (FinOps platform) helping companies manage their cloud infrastructure costs. We assist customers from individual developers to Fortune 500 organizations. The company is a team of approximately 50 employees across the US, with a New York City center of gravity. Vantage has raised $25M in venture capital, including a recent $21M Series A financing round. Our investors include prominent figures like Andreessen Horowitz and DigitalOcean co-founders. We are seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to assist customers with integrating their cloud infrastructure into Vantage.

About The Role

Customers need to integrate their entire stack of cloud infrastructure providers (AWS, Snowflake, MongoDB, Kubernetes, etc.) into Vantage. This role requires interaction with customers to answer technical questions and ensure proper assistance.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert to aligned accounts, technical teams, and business stakeholders.
  • Exhibit strong communication skills and the ability to influence decisions through presentations, demos, and technical engagements.
  • Partner with Account Executives to communicate the Vantage value proposition, vision, and strategy to customers of all sizes.
  • Understand the customer’s journey from current state to future state, owning technical validation of the proposed solution.
  • Proactively engage with the Vantage product team to prioritize features based on customer, competitor, and partner input.
  • Communicate and follow up with customers on technical details, questions, and specific configurations via Zoom, Slack, and Email.
  • Drive technical escalations by partnering with cross-functional teams.
